Spanish Immersion: Songs, Reading, and Conversation

A dynamic Spanish class that covers multiple language skills.

The session begins with students practicing the lyrics and pronunciation of a romantic song, followed by reading comprehension exercises that assess their intermediate level. Much of the class focuses on listening and speaking practice, including reviewing hotel vocabulary and correctly writing dates and large numbers. Additionally, students worked on geographical comprehension by filling out statistical information about Caribbean islands such as Cuba and Jamaica. Grammar is thoroughly reviewed with a lesson on the use of interrogative pronouns and their combinations with verbs and nouns. The session concludes with identifying marine animals by listening to a children's song.
